Prom 2013!

I didn't take these but I loved them so much I decided to put them on here!

Abandoned

Out of the three choices of rural decay, urban decay, and abandoned, I chose abandoned because it seemed like it would be the most interesting. For it, I chose an old, abandoned birdhouse. I really like how it looks old and rickety. That really adds to the abandoned feel.

An Alphabet Through Pictures

Although this assignment was extremely hard I thought it was really fun because you had to look at things in a different way than you normally would. I don't really like the set up of the letters but I didn't know what other formation to put them in because of their weird and different shapes.

CD Jewel Case: Alternative

This assignment was extremely fun I think, because you could really do whatever you wanted with it. I had alternative music and I actually just LOVE alternative music. The only problem with this that I has was trying to think of what I was going to do because most alternative album covers are drawings or are very unusual things that required extreme photoshop skills and an extreme location. 

In the end I did find someone to photograph and I like how the covers turned out. I think they go together quite nicely. I never realized how hard it would be to create an album cover. I also had some trouble deciding what the font should be to make it look like a real album cover because most cases or covers had just plain text but some didn't. There are just so many different directions I could have gone with it and I think thats what made it hard. 

Fawn Again!

Now I did not, in fact, take these but my mom did and I thought this little fawn who came back again was so adorable and I thought about how unusual he is so I decided to put them up for you to look at!

Multi-view: Lock

I thought this would be a really interesting thing to photograph because of all the details in it with the numbers and such. I put one big lock in the back and I really like how its not all white yet its not all colored. I also thought this was really fun because of the different colors it made the lock. I wish I could have a lock that is these colors!

A Blackberry Patch

I went out to our blackberry patch and thought the thorns would make an interesting subject. I really like the close-ups of the branches because it makes them look not so harmful. Also, when you photograph them from far away they all just blend in with each other and you look like you just have a bunch of sticks coming out of the ground.

Another subject?

Since I had so much trouble photographing my costume at first I went outside for a change of scenery. We have this wagon in our yard that I love taking pictures of because it is very rustic and it usually makes for a pretty nice picture. I flipped the middle picture upside down because I thought that the leaves on the bottom of it blended in too much with the bottom pictures. I think this does add some interest to the collage.

Multi-view: Sadie

This was actually very fun I thought. I really like how you can sort of still tell its a dog but its all crazy and messed up too. These were just some of my old pictures that I put together. 

One Subject

For this assignment I had some trouble finding something to photograph. I thought my pointe costume would be great but at first I had problems photographing it in different ways. Finally, I thought of some different and interesting ways to photograph it with my pointe shoes. I really like how this looks in a collage. It really brings all the pieces together.

Warm

I really like the darkness at the bottom of this photo. It makes it feel mysterious. 

Again on this picture I like how it is dark at the bottom compared to the lightness on the top. 

This picture I really like the difference between the snow and the fire because they're kind of enemies. 

I had some trouble finding "warm" things for this assignment so I started in the kitchen. From there I thought of fire, thats warm right? So I lit a candle and brought it outside. I love the contrast of the warm to tho cold, since the weather is still wintry. 

Spring is on the Way!

The other day we had some deer in our yard looking for some food and this fawn was definitely not shy! It will eventually learn to be afraid but it was nice to see one so close. I really like how there is such a big contrast between the fawn and the snow.

My Typical Day

This is my Typical Day. Usually in the mornings I'll get up get a bowl of cereal and then start to get ready. I'll do my makeup, my hair, etc. Then I'll go to school, the photos I have from school are from geometry class and history class. Then after school I will go to dance, I do this everyday except fridays, thats why I have so many pictures of it. At dance I usually have to wait a LOT. So to show that I have a picture of my friend Morgan doing homework while she waits with me. Then once I get home which is usually between 9 and 10 at night I will shower and read or go on my phone until I go to bed.
